Testing in Soccer
Hi,

I started my new job in professional soccer club last month. After finding out that current testing equipment has not been working properly (or at all !!) we have been discussing about possible replacement.

Tests what have been conducted before include 30m sprints with 10m interval, jump test, repeated jump test and agility track. In agility track the first movement is a reactive either to visual stimulus, followed by running pattern with change of direction.

Our thinking is that timing could start using contact mat and stop using gates. Would this be possible with Chronojump?

Thank you.

RE: Testing in Soccer
Yes, you can do this.

Eg. Jeffrey in phillippines just done these days lots
of jump and run tests using chronojump.

Hardware is perfect for this.
Software can improve in detections of double contact in runs
(arm and body of a person) I will improve this soon.
You can do any time test, but also in newyear there
wil be rsa staristics ans facilities in software.

final answer: it works good but can be better (software)
if unsure start with a contact platform and do jumps,
and later go for runs.

Bye
