Brick New firmware with 10ms of filter time
The original Chronopic firmware has an electronic rebound time of 50 ms. This times is suitable to filter problems with non-pure electrical contacts. It's ok to filter double contacts and this time is enough small for jumps (chronopic initial purpose) because in jumps there are no contact times or flight times lower than this.

But now lots of users use the software to reaction time and rhythms, for this reason we have changed the limitation of 50ms to 10ms in a new experimental firmware. You can find this firmware here:

chronopic_firmware_10ms_unvalidated.hex
http://git.gnome.org/browse/chronojump/p...mwares.zip

Note that this firmware has not been fully tested yet.

To record the firmware just follow this instructions:
"Record Chronopic Firmware"
http://forum.chronojump.org/showthread.php?tid=20

After recording to 10ms you can record again to 50ms using the original firmware. You can find it also in the same zip as 10ms firmware.

This solves the problem of connecting an encoder as it's being discussed here (spanish):
"Encoder potencia"

Cheers
