RE: Knee Angle Software
Hello Luca
KneeAngle was made as part of my PhD. It's documented in that paper (see Documents) but only in spanish yet. In the near future it will be more research to validate it further. All the code is on the chronojump code repository, exactly here: http://git.gnome.org/browse/chronojump/tree/src/angle The problem is KneeAngle needs OpenCV library. This library is free software, but is not easy to install. It needs a special version of ffmpeg and other librararies. The process is fully documented: http://opencv.willowgarage.com/wiki/InstallGuide but as you can see is not easy. We have done the software and uploaded on the internet, anyone can use it, but we have not done an easy installation because is lot of effort and we think that few people will use it. It's a software done more for our individual requirements than a mass users petition. Maybe in the future we change this, and maybe you contribute, but now we are putting all the effort on the encoder and a new chronojump release. Then my final answer is: Software is available, it was only tested under Linux, but should work on Linux, MacOSX and Windows, you need to install OpenCV yourself. If you have any question or comment, please reply. Thanks. |
